A powerful earthquake of 6.2 magnitude rocked the southern island of Mindanao, Philippines. According to the reports, the tremor struck at a depth of 38 miles, about 80 miles eats of the island’s major city of Davao.
Philippines have always suffered from earthquakes. The country is part of the infamous Ring of Fire region, where about 90% of the world’s tremors happen.
It is yet to be known if there is any casualties as a result of the earthquake. Earlier this week a huge 6.8 magnitude earthquake struck Bolivia, also in the Ring of Fire.
