Superstar Footballer Cristiano Ronaldo who is a popular figure among young children across the world has asked his little fans in Syria (Eastern Ghouta) not to give up, he said in a video clip recorded for the Save the Children and posted it on his Twitter account.

He also shared a footage that showed bombardment against Eastern Ghouta and wrote “Be Strong. Have faith. Never give up.”

The Portuguese star has also donated medical, food and clothing aid for Syrian children through the organization.
The Eastern Ghouta which is house to 400,000 civilians has been a target for the Syrian regime and its supporters for weeks. Many civilians have lost their lives, including women and children.
The UN Security Council has passed a resolution calling for immediate cease-fire for 30 days and lifting the blockade, however, the Syrian regime has not given ears to the call made by the global body in February.
