Stunning Instagram Model Revealed To Be CGI

Photos of a fabulous ‘model’ have been messing with people’s heads online as they struggled to work out if she’s real or not.

Shudu Gram might look like she’s just strolled off a catwalk somewhere, but in actual fact, she’s computer generated.

British photographer Cameron-James Wilson, 28, created the beautiful woman after spending ten years working within the fashion industry.

Shudu even caught the eye of Rihanna after a photo of her was posted ‘wearing’ one of her Fenty Beauty lipsticks and reposted on its official account.

Over on Shudu’s account, many fans have been totally fooled into thinking she’s the real deal with many comment on how ‘perfect’ she looks and piling on praise about her good looks and amazing figure.

Explaining why he created the ‘model’ to Metro, Cameron said: “I was learning how to create 3D imagery for graphic novels and animations and I had the opportunity to create a model however I wanted. So I created the most beautiful woman I could.”

Almost 40,000 followers later, Cameron sat down for an interview with Isiuwa and revealed that the ‘model’ wasn’t real. Talking about his creation, he said: “The point is really that I’m doing something I love.

“I love technology, Sci-fi films, gaming, CGI movies like Final Fantasy, Shudu is just everything I’m passionate about brought together. She embodies the best parts of the things that inspire me.”

After the interview he went back to Shudu’s posts and added the hashtag #3Dart, before he did that the photos appeared to be of a real model and had tricked plenty of people into thinking she was.

Now, her bio reads: ‘World’s First Digital Supermodel’ and her army of followers are getting the heads around the fact she’s not real.

He went on to the Metro: “I continue to post to Shudu.gram because people really enjoy the art, they enjoy the imagery.

“I’m not trying to replace models and if anything it’s a criticism in how fake society has become that a CGI Model can pass for real.”

Adding that the process of creating a new image is ‘enjoyable’ but time consuming with some taking over three days to finish.
